Toshiba NB200 netbook

Toshiba has rolled out its NB200 netbook in vibrant colors and textured design patterns. This 10.1-inch diagonal wide-LED screen netbook comes in two designs—cosmic black with fusion stripes and black flat keyboard, and satin brown with a matt finish.

A 3D-accelerometer monitoring system detects free falls, shocks and vibrations. It moves the HDD head from between the platters protecting data stored on the high capacity (up to 160 GB) HDD. Powered by the latest 1.60 GHz Intel Atom processor N270 / 1.66 GHz Intel Atom processor N280 with Intel 945GSE graphics chipset, it comes preloaded with Windows XP Home.

These netbooks also feature Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, Wi-Fi, and 10/100 Ethernet interfaces. With two USB 2.0 ports and a unique USB 2.0 port with a sleep-and-charge function, it enables users to charge portable electronics and mobile phones even when the netbook is turned off. These netbooks have a battery backup of 3.5 hours.

Available at a price of Rs 22,900, it comes with a standard 1-year warranty from Toshiba distributors.
