 “I admire Steve Jobs”

Wei Wei Yin, Marketing Director at Kingston Technology, has eight years of experience in the field of marketing. Prior to joining Kingston she had worked with XGI Technology

If not in the IT industry: I would have been in the film or design industry. I was always a creative person, and would have loved to take up designing or film making.

Biggest passion: Photography and installation art. I simply love the way one can capture beautiful moments with just a click of the camera.

Behind the wheels: I currently drive a Honda CRV, but would love to get my hands on a BMW X5.

Gadget I can’t live without: My Blackberry 8707G. This is one device that helps me to stay connected with my colleagues and loved ones.

Role model: Steve Jobs. I admire how he established one of the world’s leading companies—starting from scratch.

Weekend activities: Reading, watching movies, sightseeing, hiking, swimming and practising yoga.

Favorite holiday destination: The Greek islands in the Aegean Sea. It’s a romantic getaway that’s full of rich culture, art and scenic beauty.

Hate the most: Dishonesty.

Favorite movie: Wings of Desire (also known as The Sky over Berlin) directed by German film maker Wim Wenders. It is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen. It’s more than a yearning for the preservation of humanity…it is rather a celebration of it.

Favorite stars: Daniel Day-Lewis, Jeremy Irons and Keanu Reeves. Among actresses, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Angelina Jolie. They are all hard working and talented people with unique personalities.

Ultimate ambition: To travel around the world, visit each and every corner of the earth, and record everything I see through the lens of a camera.
