SaaS Opportunity for Indian Channels

LakshmiNarayan Rao

Jamcracker Inc.

SaaS is an acronym for Software as a Service, SaaS is a software delivery method that provides access to software and its functions remotely as a Web-based service. SaaS allows organizations to access business functionality at a cost typically less than paying for licensed applications since SaaS pricing is based on a monthly fee. Also, because the software is hosted remotely - ‘in the cloud’ - users don't need to invest in additional hardware.

We have had our SaaS CRM product - Impel CRM (www.ImpelCRM.in)in the market since May 2008. We've had a tremendous response. Our complete marketing and sales has been online and we've signed up small, medium and large enterprises. I think SaaS is a very do-able model in India

We have recently started offering On-line ERP software on SaaS basis. We have received very good response. The next in line is On-line multi-lingual Restaurant POS followed by other products. We can certainly vouch for the fact that tis trend is catching on fast. For more information contact us at info@nktechno.com
