Barely ten days after Dell conducted its storage forum with 300 CIOs and channel partners in Pune, NetApp also announced increased focus on the channel partners in the region.

“Our partners in Pune build intelligent and innovative solutions in virtualization, cloud, business applications, big data, converged infrastructure etc for industry sectors like banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI), telecommunications, healthcare, retail, and the public sector,” said Krithiwas Neelakantan, Director, Channel & Alliances, India & Saarc, NetApp.

While addressing the Pune Market he said, “Pune is emerging as one of the key contributing markets in the overall scheme of things for NetApp and today we have 8 channel partners (among a total of 80 partners pan India) in this region. We see immense potential in this market and will continue expanding our base here.”

 Vinay Kumar P, Director, India Key Accounts, India & Saarc, NetApp, said, “With our recent clustered data ONTAP announcement our customers can now leverage significant business benefits and return on investments, while consolidating and managing their data centrally, simplifying data management and lowering TCO. Pune houses customers across verticals and industries and we expect clustered storage offering to open newer opportunities for us here.’
