Varoon Rajani, Co-Founder & CEO of BlazeClan Technologies, talks about the company’s journey as a Premier Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Consulting partner providing cloud consulting and managed services to customers across different vertical industries

Indian companies are creating waves all over the world. And, BlazeClan Technologies is definitely one of them. It is an organization that is born in the cloud. Not only in India, BlazeClan has marked its international presence too. Along with the primary delivery center in India, the company has also registered a remarkable growth across the ASEAN region (Malaysia and Singapore), Europe (France and Belgium), the US, and Canada.

Started as an AWS customer
“We have started our journey with AWS in 2010 with the product into education space. AWS was a perfect platform to start with. When we have started, AWS was a real differentiator for us. The platform was cost-effective for us and the speed of market building on AWS afforded us. Though the product was not successful up to our expectations but we have learned a lot from it”, says Varoon Rajani, Co-Founder & CEO of BlazeClan Technologies. And, this is how BlazeClan started spreading its tentacles. Soon this started leaving an impact on BlazeClan and they have started helping other AWS partners too. They have flourished them as a fully fledged consulting business. “After we had a deep understanding of how AWS worked and helped us, later we have also started helping some of the startup space migrate to AWS. That time the startup market in India was growing quickly. And, we have noticed the similar need across startups, whenever we discussed our use case on AWS,” Varoon says.

BlazeClan as a Premier Consulting Partner
The hard work paid off and in 2012, they have joined as a partner for AWS. BlazeClan is a Premier Consulting Partner of AWS and they were first in the India to do so. As Varoon says, “It has been a fruitful journey working with AWS. Now we have a lot of enterprise customers. Slowly and steadily we are building our business on the top. With support from the AWS Partner Network team in India, BlazeClan has been focused on helping customers realize the benefits of AWS. We want to help customers solve their problems and make them agiler. We want to help them look at applications and infrastructure from a different perspective. At the same time, we also ensure that whatever we do contributes to the growth of their business. We have invested significantly in the AWS practice and have extensive experience in deploying customer solutions on AWS. We have a strong bench of trained and certified technical consultants, have expertise in project management, and have healthy revenue generating consulting business on AWS”.

BlazeClan in digital transformation era
Varoon believes that digital transformation does not mean only building the asset but it is changing the culture in a way you deliver things. “Organizations have to think beyond to what they are already presenting on the table to serve customers today. Customers need is changing very fast. They must know what the customers need is and work backward. We take a lot of customer’s feedback to provide them quality service” he says.

Focus Verticals
Media and entertainment, digital business in enterprises and startups are some verticals where Blazeclan is focusing on. Apart from that Financial service industry are another focus area for them.

Future Roadmap
BlazeClan is all set their plan for next few years. Currently, they have headquartered in Pune and sales office in Mumbai but soon they are going to have some more offices so that they can be near to their clients. In next 3-4 months, they will have their first office in Delhi. Besides, they are planning for more offices in India. The company is already investing in fields like AI and IoT and will continue doing that depending upon the success rate. “As a company, we always want to be ahead of all the competitions. But, the adoption will come over the time. We are looking at 1-2 customers for now. Once we will build success we will do more after that”, says Rajani. Currently, they are a team of 150 people and in future they will see for more head count. “We will collaborate with technology partners of AWS in India as well as with international technology partners. We have our own specialization and another partner has their own specialization. So, we will bring that together to provide quality service to the customers,” says Varoon Rajani .
