Tell us about Jamf’s journey and partnership with Apple
Jamf has been in India for 4 years and we are currently present across all the major cities in the South, West and North regions. We are committed towards helping organizations in India succeed with Apple, while also providing the best user experience.
Moreover, with the Indian tech landscape evolving at such a rapid pace and organizations adopting digital technologies faster than ever, we are working with closely with them to help them navigate the changing work landscape. It is great to see how some of these organizations have demonstrated great agility and resilience in order to maintain business continuity. Furthermore, this has resulted in a significant push in the demand for OEMs like Apple. As reported by IDC, Apple’s shipping numbers in Q1 2021 came up to a total of 1,67,000 units and the tech OEM is the fifth biggest player in India. This strongly suggests how Apple is becoming an increasingly popular choice for enterprises. What are the key highlights of your business in the last 15 months? What has been the impact of the pandemic?
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way businesses are working. There is now a need to build an advanced technological framework of operations by complying devices to security, auditing, control, and better management. With a definite digital future, organizations are now strongly in need of solutions to enable seamless operational delivery, maximize productivity and efficiency, foster collaboration and ensure an organization-wide seamless user experience. As highlighted by a recent IDC report, the AI market is to accelerate further in 2022 with 18.8 per cent growth and remain on track to break the $500 billion mark by 2024.
While organizations are incorporating more and more software solutions to maximize their operational efficiency, they are equally focused on equipping their workforce with the right kind of hardware which includes PCs and laptops. In this regard, brands like Apple are gaining popularity as they enable a seamless remote working experience. At Jamf, we are seeing great successes while customers continue to grow their Apple footprint.
What role does Jamf play in enabling the right technology solutions for its clients? Could you also shed some light on your products and solutions?

With growing security attacks, the management solutions providers’ role is in a tight spot. What is your view?
As remote work is becoming a more popular choice among the workforce, the need to enable the infrastructure which supports this expansive digital network is inevitable. While companies have realised that and started investing in technology accordingly, they have also become equally aware of the security-related concerns that emerge out of this model.
With organizational operations moving beyond the vicinity of traditional workspaces, organizational data is now forced to battle with multiple points of contact, some of which are potentially dangerous. This has led to a great evolution of the threat landscape as we see an alarming emergence of such threat actors. As reported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), the first half of 2021 witnessed 6.07 Lakh cyber-attacks in India.

How important is the Indian market for Jamf? How are you expanding your reach, R&D and workforce to meet the addressable market
India is a prominent rising economy and holds great importance for Jamf. As a nation that is on its way to rapid economic development, it fosters many lucrative sectors which contribute to the economy significantly. Since the country is on its way to rapid digital transformation, there is a strong demand for quality tech providers and OEMs such as Apple. As a company we are continuously re evaluating the needs for the market to ensure we meet that demand as well from a recruitment standpoint.
