Computer & Media Dealersʼ Association, Pune, popularly known as CMDA, has announced the launch of ‘CMDA B2B IT Expo’ 2019. Themed ‘Business Transformation Together’, the two-day expo will kick-start on February 5, 2019 at Conrad Pune and will be focused on newer business opportunities and improved channel access.
Highlights of the B2B event include: representations frp, diversified IT sectors; presence of dealers from across Maharashtra; meeting spaces and data sharing; expo directory among others. The expo will serve as an ideal platform to showcase products and interact with dealers and future channel partners, build business and expand channel reach. It aims to create a win-win situation for vendors and channel partners to improve their businesses, where the vendors get to expand their reach and the channel partners get improved sourcing. This will be an excellent platform for vendors / distributors to better their channel connect and for the partners to build vendor relationships.
CMDA is one of the premier IT associations in India. It was founded in 1993 with the primary objective of working for the betterment of IT trading community, and increasing the IT awareness amongst the consumers. Today, CMDA has more than 350 members, who serve almost 90 per cent of the computer hardware and consumables business in Pune region. CMDA Pune has been consistently rated amongst the top IT Trade associations in India.
CMDA, Pune has always strived to help its members and other stakeholders of the IT trade to improve their businesses by conducting various events that introduce them to emerging trends in technology and business management. Over the years, CMDA has conducted various such events but the one that stands out for its sheer scale and grandeur is its signature event, the ‘CMDA IT Expo’. Over the years, the IT expo gained in size and underwent a lot of changes as and when required, changes which made the CMDA brand much stronger and well recognised. This year will be the 21st consistently organised year of the expo.
The recent changes in business trends and the rapid growth of e-commerce trade gave birth to the thought of organising the expo. The B2B expo organised by CMDA will strive to bring channel partners and vendors / distributors on a single platform and aim to foster a better relationship between them, leading to a better understanding of business trends and newer opportunities in the trade. The B2B expo is being envisaged with the objective of improving the channel trade and opening new trade opportunities for the partners.
CMDA will also publish an Expo Directory which will have all the relevant details of exhibitors, advertisement of distributors/vendors and CMDA members list. Every channel partner visiting B2B IT Expo will be given the IT Expo Directory. A digital copy of the IT Expo directory will also be emailed to all channel partners across Maharashtra.
CMDA has a visitor management system in place for a better understanding of the visitor profile and this will help the exhibitor to efficiently manage the flow of visitors to their booths. The channel partners who would visit the expo will register their areas of interest which will help the exhibitors identify their potential customers and align their interests.
