AIT highlights AV Sector’s business potential with strong-arm tactics

AIT has recently organized a fellowship meeting for its members on “Business Opportunities for the IT System Integrators in the Professional AV Sector” at Karnataka State Cricket Association Pavilion Hall.

The meet started with a formal welcome note by the President of the association- Dinesh Dhanapathi, which was followed by a presentation on an association-level communication solution by Poovanna, CEO, Hubbler.

Gaurab Majumdar, Regional Director (India and Middle East) of AVIXA (The Audio Visual & Integrated Experience Association) spoke about the growing AV Market and the humongous business opportunity for IT SIs to tap. He explained about how AVIXA is also organizing hands-on trainings for its members so as to equip them to provide solutions. Their certifications will further open up lucrative employment opportunities. The future will ride on AV, he said.

Sooraj Dhawan, oragniser, Infocomm India, gave a perspective on the business opportunities at Infocomm India to be held at Mumbai from 18 to 20 September 2019. The details of the Infocomm India 2019 were explained and he urged all to take the first step by attending the same. This will provide a platform to connect with the global leaders in the AV field who are keen to set up and expand business in India.

AIT was honoured to have Manoj Chopra, Asia’s Strongest Man as a surprise celebrity guest. Manoj spoke briefly about his determination to make a mark in the global level and ensure that India is represented in the World’s Strongest Man competition. He urged all the participants at the event to inculcate healthy habits, and work hard towards their goals. He also did the honours of picking two names as winners for the lucky draw which was sponsored by Infocomm. The winners bagged to-and-fro tickets to Mumbai as their prize.

More than 75 attendees (including a few AV enthusiasts who were interested in becoming AIT members) reaped benefits from the information shared during the meeting and many expressed their intentions to visit Mumbai for Infocomm 2019.
