Cisco has announced a major platform advancement to help Managed Service Providers (MSPs) deliver security services more efficiently and profitably. The innovation introduces foundational multi-customer management capabilities within Cisco Security Cloud Control, the company’s unified, AI-powered management platform.
The new capability enables MSPs to centrally deploy and manage Cisco’s Hybrid Mesh Firewall and other advanced security services from a single console, significantly reducing complexity, operational costs, and time-to-value.
“MSPs are on the front lines, helping businesses navigate the complexities of modern cybersecurity, especially as AI makes threats more sophisticated,” said Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer, Cisco. “The new multi-customer management capabilities in Cisco Security Cloud Control, coupled with our Hybrid Mesh Firewall, are designed to eliminate operational friction and accelerate revenue growth for our partners.”
Unlocking Business Outcomes for MSPs
Cisco’s Hybrid Mesh Firewall delivers distributed protection across data centers, clouds, and edge sites, using AI-powered threat defense and zero-trust segmentation. It helps organizations apply consistent security policies across hybrid environments, integrating seamlessly with Cisco Smart Switches, workload agents, and even third-party firewalls.
With integrated multi-customer management, MSPs can now offer advanced, scalable security services—supported by new hardware like the Cisco Secure Firewall 200 Series and 6100 Series, which provide higher performance and AI-ready security for both branch and data center environments.
Recent tests by NetSecOPEN, a non-profit organization for open security benchmarking, confirmed that Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense 7.7 successfully detected and stopped 99.5% to 100% of threats during evaluation.
