darya.ai Ltd, Tajikistan’s sustainable AI infrastructure company, and Yotta Data Services, India’s sovereign AI, hyperscale data center, and cloud infrastructure provider, today announced a strategic collaboration agreement to develop Tajikistan’s first green AI data center in Darvoz.

The partnership marks a foundational step in Tajikistan’s journey to build national AI infrastructure aligned with its goal of deriving 5% of GDP from AI by 2040. Powered entirely by renewable hydropower, the Darvoz facility will serve as a strategic AI compute hub for enterprise and public sector innovation across Central Asia—reinforcing Tajikistan’s commitment to clean, sustainable growth.

The new facility will deliver high-density AI compute services designed for enterprises, government agencies, research institutions, and startups. Equipped with the latest NVIDIA GPUs, it will support large-scale AI training, inference, and analytics workloads while ensuring operational sustainability through 100% renewable energy. Tajikistan, which holds over 60% of Central Asia’s hydropower potential, has committed to allocating energy capacity to AI infrastructure, ensuring scalability and long-term competitiveness.

The collaboration combines darya.ai’s expertise in sustainable infrastructure and local ecosystem development with Yotta’s leadership in high-performance AI cloud platforms and data center operations. Together, they will deliver next-generation infrastructure optimized for AI, ML, HPC, and advanced analytics—enabling responsible and energy-efficient compute for national and regional innovation.

“The collaboration with Yotta represents a key step in realizing Tajikistan’s vision to build sovereign, sustainable compute infrastructure,” said Kristina Zaalishvili, COO, darya.ai. “This project will not only strengthen regional AI capacity but also create new opportunities for high-skilled employment in AI engineering, operations, and research.”

“At Yotta, we believe AI must be both accessible and sustainable,” said Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, MD & CEO, Yotta Data Services. “By pairing our AI compute expertise with darya.ai’s green infrastructure ecosystem, we are laying the foundation for a future-ready AI hub in Central Asia—empowering enterprises, governments, and innovators to access sustainable, high-performance compute at scale.”

The partnership will enable applications across healthcare, finance, energy, and public services—advancing Tajikistan’s participation in the global AI economy. The Darvoz facility represents the first phase of a multi-stage plan to position the country as a strategic bridge between South Asia and Central Asia in the global AI supply chain. It follows darya.ai’s launch of Tajikistan’s first NVIDIA H200 GPU cluster, inaugurated under the patronage of President H.E. Emomali Rahmon in June 2025.

Through this collaboration, darya.ai and Yotta aim to deliver scalable, energy-efficient compute infrastructure that empowers governments, enterprises, and research institutions to train and deploy AI models responsibly and affordably.
