IBM announced new Security Hub based in India which is aimed to protect organisations against cyberattacks across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The multi million dollar investment will also train cybersecurity response techniques from C-Suite through technical staff. The investment also includes a new Security Operation Center (SOC). The centre will be located at IBM offices in Bengaluru.
IBM also released a global analysis which pointed out Asia as now the most targeted region for cyberattacks, with 26% of attacks analysed in 2021. The analysis also stated that this trend signals an increased need cyber security investments for financial services and manufacturing industries.

The IBM Security Command Center offers live malware, ransomware, and other real-world hacker tools. The centre can deliver customized experiences and workshops that can be tailored to organizations unique security requirements and objectives.
