Committed to nurturing engineering talent, one of India’s largest IP-driven incubation labs, BridgeLabz solution LLP has made yet another move in this regard. The new initiative BLUE-BridgeLabz Lateral Upskilling and Enhancement program aims to refine the tech skills of the employees at the behest of their organization. The concept is a step forward in ensuring the employability and growth of the engineering workforce amidst the global economic slowdown.

The subscription-based online course is open for tech-companies who want to upskill their employees consistently over a period in a particular technology. The organizations will need to identify the employees who need an upgrade of skills and the concerned technology before signing up for the program. The solution provides an unrivaled opportunity for professionals to hone their skill set while retaining their current jobs. It also enables businesses to curate a pool of choicest personnel that can lead specialized projects in the future.

The 6-12 weeks course requires a few hours of daily engagement from candidates to refine their skill set. The program is currently operational with several companies and employees mutually reaping the benefits of the experiential learning process.

Ever since its inception in 2016, BridgeLabz has successfully trained and placed over 1500 engineers across India through its Fellowship Program. It provides talent with extensive experiential learning of industry-relevant coding skills with projects and guidance from expert mentors. Its partner network comprises over 300+ of the country’s leading companies where tailor-made talent is placed upon successful completion of the course. The company has also been actively organizing offline and online boot camps to make engineers industry-ready. The recent development is an extension of its efforts towards upskilling India’s engineering talent pool helping them survive amid the most unpredictable times.

Narayan Mahadevan, BridgeLabz said, “The constantly evolving tech-space has birthed newer innovations. But this fast-paced ecosystem had also raised certain challenges in the form of a skill gap amongst the existing workforce. The working professionals and coders often don’t have enough time to upgrade their technical skills which reflect upon future projects. With time, the divide between the available and required skill set becomes predominant. An urgent need to bridge this gap has been realized by the industry stakeholders. BLUE is our endeavor to address the issue. Apart from this, the program will enable employees to grow in their current roles and add value to their organization.”
