In an attempt to expand overall growth and reach across India, Kaspersky Lab has decided to partner with 7 premium partners in association with VR Infotech, Kaspersky’s National distributor in India. This strategic move was made with the intention of fueling market growth for Kaspersky’s products in tier 2 and tier 3 Indian cities.

Connecting with these 7 partners from varied states such as Tamil Nadu (Heera Communications), New Delhi & NCR (K K Software Pvt. Ltd.), West Bengal (Supreme Infotrade Pvt. Ltd.), Kerala (Suraaj Infocomm), Karnataka (Fortune Info Solutions), Maharashtra (Live Technology), Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (P. L. Computers) will be based on a sub-distribution model with VR Infotech wherein resellers in these states can now buy Kaspersky’s products directly from these partners. This model will help local resellers including those who undertake back-to-back buying in terms of quick availability of the products’ stocks and also help grow the market in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in these states with local distribution support. Kaspersky Lab is also planning to announce tertiary incentive schemes for resellers who buy from these partners soon.

Shrenik Bhayani, General Manager, Kaspersky Lab (South Asia) said “Partnering with local distributors is sure to boost Kaspersky’s sales in India. We are also planning to announce tertiary incentive schemes for resellers who buy from these new partners so that our best products are made available in the Indian market easily. We are looking forward to a great association and a win-win situation for all of us involved. We are confident that with our National Distributor, VR Infotech’s rich knowledge of consumer market and wider channel network will help these State Partners to reach this ambitious goal.”

Shivshankar Kharade, Tangible Sales Manager, Kaspersky Lab (South Asia) said “India is one of the largest and most important markets for Kaspersky and we have received a great response from our Indian customers so far. We see immense growth potential in India, especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and have therefore decided to strategically invest in forming partnerships with distributors from various states. Our aim is to make Kaspersky’s products available easily across India and partnering with these 7 new distributors will surely give us the local support we need.”

Vikram, Co-founder, VR Infotech said “State-level partnership is a clever sales-boosting move for Kaspersky Lab and we are thrilled to be a part of this symbiotic relationship with these 7 new premier partners from 8 different states. We hope to expand our reach, penetrate new markets and gain significant AV market share in the coming year. Kaspersky’s products are top-notch and deserve this kind of market penetration wherein tier 2 and tier 3 cities also benefit from reliable cybersecurity products available at great prices. The idea is to ensure easy accessibility of Kaspersky’s products with the help of local distribution support. Also, local resellers who buy products frequently will be assured of faster stock availability through this premier partner channel. This will not only boost our sales but also push Kaspersky in the direction of becoming a household name in India when it comes to cybersecurity and anti-virus software.”

This move by Kaspersky Lab and VR Infotech, will ensure that businesses and households in tier 2 and tier 3 Indian cities can also look forward to some reliable and affordable products that counter cyber-threats at various levels.
