NASSCOM hosts its 14th edition of the Global Inclusion Summit 2022

NASSCOM in partnership with NASSCOM Foundation, is hosting the 14th  Edition of NASSCOM’s Global Inclusion Summit virtually on April 27-28, 2022. The event is part of NASSCOM’s efforts to create a culture of inclusion across all levels of the tech industry.

The theme this year is ‘Looking Ahead – Mainstreaming Inclusion’, which recognises that it is vital that we develop a holistic approach towards inclusion. The need to underline the inclusion of a critical business agenda and a boardroom conversation tied directly to an organization’s growth will be a key focus in these two days.

The summit will focus on three focus areas that will shape the inclusion conversation in the coming days:  the role of leadership in creating a culture of inclusion at workplaces, how new technologies can help enable inclusion, and trends that can help drive inclusion in the future. Some topics that are being discussed at NASSCOM’s Global Inclusion Summit include Building Values That Drive an Inclusive Culture: A Boardroom Perspective, Assistive Technology: Unlocking the Power of Technology-Driven Inclusion and Inking the Inclusion Manifesto for Gen Z.

The event will see many distinguished speakers talk about the challenges of mainstreaming inclusion and share their learnings, as well as actionable strategies and best practices. The Hon’ Minister of Women & Child Development of India, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani with an opening keynote that will set the tone for the Inclusion conversation not just for the industry but the country at large. Panelists include esteemed personalities from various backgrounds such as Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog; Anant Maheshwari, President, Microsoft; Tiger Tyagarajan, CEO, Genpact; Dia Mirza, Actor, Producer, United Nations Secretary-General Advocate for Sustainable Development Goals.

Emphasizing the need to prioritize mainstreaming inclusion within the industry, Debjani Ghosh, President, NASSCOM said “Organisations can no longer deny that inclusive workplaces are also productive workplaces. As we move forward in shaping the techade, we need to ensure that our workforce is inclusive not only from a gender perspective but also by leveraging talent from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities & cultures.
