At the recent Oracle India Partner Kickoff 2022 held in Goa, Oracle announced its renewed strategy to work more closely with its partners and help accelerate digitisation for its 15,000 customers in the country.
The partner conference saw over 120 partners gathered at the event where Oracle’s Indian leadership team set the new strategies and growth path for it partners.
Lalit Malik, Group Vice President, Alliances and Channels, Asia Pacific, Oracle shared how the company is growing it’s SaaS and OCI business with the support of its existing and new cloud partners. “Today, 70 percent of Oracle cloud business is contributing by our channel ecosystems. Overall, Oracle has 3000 global partners of which over 500 partners in India.”
Oracle is making investment in partners digital skills and enablement program as part of its channel business.
Indian organisations across public and private sectors, are looking for technology partners that can help them grow; meet rising industry and compliance mandates related to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG); support India’s digital banking revolution and lastly, be an active participant in all major transformations across industries: public sector; banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI); manufacturing; professional services (Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services) and more.

Oracle Support Rewards: This new program helps reduce support bill for partners and customers. Partners can earn $0.25 to $0.33 in rewards for every $1 spent on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure consumption. These rewards can be applied to reduce their tech software license support bill to a great extent.
Oracle Cloud Lift Services: Through this, partners and customers are provided guidance from cloud engineers on planning, architecting, prototyping and managing cloud migrations. This way they can move critical workloads in weeks, or even days, instead of months.
Oracle Partner Network (OPN) Service Delivery Incentives: When partners help customers to successfully move their workload to OCI, they get access to a comprehensive suite of incentives that reward partners when they help customers to buy and adopt, implement and deploy; and then manage and grow their OCI footprint.
Oracle Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Annual Aggregate Buying Model: This applies to CSP expertise partners of Oracle, who can also enjoy aggregated buying of OCI across the entire tenancy that they manage to earn tiered discounts on OCI.

Oracle industry partnerships give customers the best choice
Oracle and Microsoft have shown they’re committed to making multicloud environments work for their customers. Oracle and VMware are embracing hybrid cloud by making it easy for customers to deploy their VMware-based virtual machines on OCI. And they can do so without having to modify their people’s skills or their company’s software tools and processes. This means customers can get to hybrid cloud in a matter of hours without any major architectural changes and the associated risks.
