Swiss cabling systems developer and provider of fibre and copper solutions for network infrastructures, R&M has announced the appointment of Murugesan R as Senior Director, Sales – Private Networks (India & SAARC), effective from January 9. Murugesan will be based out of Bengaluru. Industry veteran Murugesan comes with an overall experience of more than 30 years with a strong track record in sales and marketing operations. Prior to joining R&M, he has held senior positions with many well-known OEM companies.
On this appointment, Gaurav Ahluwalia, Managing Director, R&M India, said, “Murugesan’s induction to R&M team will bring great value to marketing and sales operations of R&M. Apart from his deep understanding in engineering processes, Murugesan has a proven track record in handling multi location teams for service delivery, managing large sales projects and business operations for enterprise, data centres, residential and industrial networks. His rich industry experience in the functional areas of sales, service delivery, operations and project management make him a natural fit for the current role and responsibilities. In his new role at R&M India, Murugesan will be responsible for the overall private network sales operations of the company for India region and SAARC. He would also be the face of company in driving strategic alliances and business centric tie-ups.
