IAMCP WIT conducts its first workshop, ‘Bring in Business Women in You with Technology’

After winning the ‘Chapter of the Year Award’ at Microsoft Inspire in July, IAMCP Women in Technology (WIT) held its first workshop on ‘Bring in Business Women in You with Technology’. The workshop was held at Web Werks India on August 31 2018. Women from different sectors like healthcare, lodging, pre-school, organic self-making entrepreneurs who are running business from their home, had participated in the workshop. Ridhima Sawant from Orient Technologies was the key speaker of workshop.

The objective of the workshop was to guide these woman entrepreneurs how they can leverage their business by using various aspect of technology such as online platform to sell the product and service – digital marketing tools to promote, sell, resell, and get leads for their businesses.

Nazmeen Ansari, Chair, IAMCP WIT – India, from Matrix3D Infocom, introduced IAMCP WIT India and WIT Global goal, mission, vision and how women can collaborate, support and empower each other.

Sawant explained how to easily and effectively to use social media to promote the business. She clarified how to select from the various tools like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Plus, Pinterest, Blogs etc; and how one could showcase products on Amazon or Flipkart and Services on UrbanClap.

The school entrepreneurs were also informed about the Microsoft Education License and Microsoft 365 subscriptions available free for schools.

The workshop was designed by Lata Shroff from On-Time Management Services. Suresh Ramani, President, IAMCP India West, joined the workshop and shared his thoughts, wherein he advised to keep a goal and become an expert at one thing. The session was concluded by Sonali Nerurkar from Questa Software; she mentioned the key points of social marketing.
